2nd Oct (Tuesday) ~ Tunis Upon arriving in Tunisia, you'll be greeted and escorted to your Beach hotel in Hammamet. (B)

3rd Oct ~ Kairouan-Sousse-Monastir Travel to Kairouan to visit the Great Mosque, Aghlabites pools, and the legendary wells. Later shop in the Souk for woodwork, ceramics, inlay work and the famous Kairouan carpets. On to Monastir to visit the Ribat and the Mediana in nearby Sousse. (B, D)

4th Oct ~ Day at Leisure Enjoy the beautiful beach and the Mediterranean Sea. Your hotel offers many activities.

5th Oct ~ Cape Bon Depart for Nabeul, famous for its pottery and then to Dar Chaabane to see the stonecutters. In Kelibia we visit the scenic harbour, Kerkouane, its museum and sites. In El Haouaria we visit the Roman undergrounds caves. (B, D)

6th Oct ~ Tunis-Carthage-Sidi Bou Said Depart for Tunis to see Souks that are virtually unchanged since the 19th century. Also visit the Medina and the renowned Bardo Museum. Continue onto Carthage, the historical Roman site and then to the village of Sidi Bou Said, an architectural treasure representing the typical way of Tunisian life. (B, D)

8th Oct ~ Desert Jeep Safari Travel by 4x4 Jeep to El Jem to visit the 3rd century Roman amphitheatre (a replica of the one in Rome). Then to the oasis of Gabes, for its henna and basketworks. (B, L, D)

9th Oct ~ More Jeep Safari Travelling via Douz, the doorway to the Sahara, we cross the salt lake made famous in the film “The English Patient” arriving in Tozeur, the 'Eden' in the desert. (B, L, D)

10th Oct ~ Even more Jeep Safari Today visit Chebika with the intense green of its palm trees in the arid landscape. Visit the canyon of Mides then the oasis of Tamerza, with its ravines, palm groves, fragrant gardens and water sources. Lunch in Gafsa before returning to Hammamet. (B, L, D)

11th Oct (Thursday) ~ Depart Tunis Transfer to Tunis Airport for your flight home. (B.)
